Privacy Policy

Last updated August 29, 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains what SonnetClip collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the website and the product. We collect the minimum needed to run the service, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for third party advertising.

2. What we collect

Account data: email address, display name, and authentication records. Billing data: subscription status and payment history, processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

Product data: channels you track, videos and broadcasts you submit, transcripts and analysis results, clips, captions, publishing schedules, and usage metering. Technical data: service logs, device and browser information, and privacy respecting product analytics.

3. Connected accounts

When you sign in with Google, Twitch, or Kick we receive your basic profile (name, email, avatar) and the tokens needed to keep you signed in. When you link a Twitch or Kick channel we read public information about its broadcasts and chat replays. When you connect social accounts for publishing, our publishing partner stores the tokens needed to post on your behalf.

You can disconnect any account at any time in the product, which stops further access. You can also revoke access from each platform's own security settings.

4. Google user data

SonnetClip's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the features you see, is never used for advertising, and is never sold.

5. How analysis works

To analyze a broadcast we send its audio to Deepgram for transcription, and portions of the transcript and derived signals to large language model providers (Anthropic, and where needed xAI or Google) to identify and rank moments. These providers process the data on our behalf to deliver the service. Rendered clips are stored with Cloudflare and delivered to the platforms you choose through our publishing partner.

6. Service providers

We use these providers to run the service: Neon (database), Railway (compute), Vercel (web hosting), Cloudflare (video storage and delivery), Deepgram (transcription), Anthropic, xAI, and Google (analysis models), Zernio (social publishing), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). Each receives only the data needed for its role.

7. Retention

Analyses, moments, and clips are retained for your plan's retention window and removed after it lapses. Usage and billing records are kept as long as required for accounting. When you delete your account, your content, tokens, and personal data are deleted, and residual copies in encrypted backups roll off on a fixed schedule.

8. Your choices and rights

You can export your clips, disconnect platforms, delete individual analyses, and delete your account entirely from Settings. For access, correction, or deletion requests you cannot complete in the product, email support@sonnetclip.com. We honor applicable rights under United States state privacy laws such as the CCPA, and we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: your session and your preferences. Our product analytics are cookieless and aggregated. There is no cross site tracking and no advertising pixel, which is why you see no cookie banner.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post updates to this policy here and revise the date above. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the product.
