Terms of Service

Last updated August 29, 2026

1. The service

SonnetClip is a subscription software service that analyzes live stream broadcasts and videos you submit, identifies notable moments, produces short form clips with captions, and can schedule and publish those clips to social platforms you connect. These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and SonnetClip governing your use of the service. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for everything done under your account. Access during the beta period may require an invitation and may change while the product is in testing.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of analysis minutes that resets every billing period and does not roll over. Additional minutes can be purchased as one time blocks. Prices are shown at checkout, and promotional pricing applies only under its stated conditions.

We may change prices for future billing periods with advance notice. Changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps your plan active through the period you already paid for. Subscription fees and minute blocks are not refunded except where required by law. Minutes charged for an analysis that fails on our side are returned to your allowance automatically.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you submit and to the clips the service produces for you. You grant SonnetClip a limited license to store, process, and transform that content solely to operate the service, including transcription, analysis, rendering, and delivery to the platforms you direct us to publish to.

You are responsible for holding the rights and permissions needed for any content you analyze or publish, including broadcasts streamed by other creators.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to infringe copyright or other rights, to harass or defame anyone, to publish unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or deceptive content, to violate the rules of any connected platform, to probe or disrupt the service, to resell access without an agreement with us, or to evade usage metering. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Third party platforms

The service connects to platforms such as Twitch, Kick, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram through their official interfaces and through our publishing partner. Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms and policies, and platforms may change or restrict access in ways outside our control. Publishing can fail, be delayed, or be removed by a platform. We retry failures but do not guarantee delivery.

8. YouTube API Services

Where you connect a YouTube account, the service uses YouTube API Services. By using those features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. The Google Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can revoke SonnetClip's access to your YouTube data at any time in your Google security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or fail to pay. Where practical we will notify you first and give you a chance to export your content.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that analysis will identify every notable moment, that clips will perform on any platform, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Beta features may change or be withdrawn without notice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SonnetClip's total liability for claims arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for actions taken by third party platforms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the product at least fourteen days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
